Beach Scenes Not called "Long" Beach for no reason, enjoy five-plus miles of beach path to run, bike, walk, you name it. Veterans Pier, volleyball, basketball, and sunset meditations start or end your day at the beach. 

Retro Row x Downtown Scenes From 4th Street or better known as Retro Row, you'll find prime thrifting, record stores, skate shops, and good food.

Stop by Little Coyote on 4th for the best NYC-style pizza on the West Coast.

From Retro Row head downtown for drinks and dessert. Make it a point to stop by The Ordinarie's Christmas Wonderland and sip on a few Christmas specialty cocktails. End the night at LB's staple ice cream shop Long Beach Creamery.

Coffee Scenes Known for the coffee scene, Long Beach does not disappoint with third-wave coffee shops, each one uniquely distinct and delicious.

A few of our favorites:

Steelhead Coffee, a long-time veteran of the city, it's the perfect place to journal, work or meet a friend. 

Colossus Bakery opened up a storefront in the city last year and is known for its baked goods, but don't sleep on their drinks; the dirty-chai is the best in town.

Coffee Drunk, the newest kid on the block, knows how to speak our love language because coffee is the only type of inebriated we want to be. The perfect spot to grab a bite to eat with a side of coffee with or without company, the energy here is contagious.
